Fully automatic serialization system for serializing folding boxes
Due to increasing product counterfeiting, many manufacturers are forced to make their products tamper-proof and counterfeit-proof. There are legal requirements for this in some countries. We have developed our HSS model series for this task. The system enables one-sided and/or two-sided printing and inspection of pharmaceutical folding boxes and thus meets all product serialization requirements.
During development, great attention was paid to protecting the packaging and the format range of the products to be processed.

In the basic version, folding boxes with format widths (in the running direction) of 50 mm to 250 mm can be serialized at a rate of up to 350 folding boxes per minute. Models for processing wider folding boxes are based on the same system concept.
A b+b LineManager including a 15" multi-touch HMI is used to operate the system. As an alternative to the HSS model series, we offer the TE-PV model from the TE model series in order to implement both serialization and seal labeling (tamper evident) in a combined system.
The system also has a product rejection station with counter-control to reliably remove and collect products that are marked as defective in the shift register (standard) from the process.
